We are currently in Bargaining for our Collective Agreements for the years September 29, 2023 through September 28, 2025.
We have several co-ordinated proposals. (Proposals that are bargained the same in all the OCHU locals in Ontario.)
They are:
- RPN Adjustment – job rate of $40.78 per hour prior to general wage increase
- Trades Adjustment – $5.00 per hour
- OPSEU Paramedical Comparators – equivalent to April 1, 2024 rate
- Paramedical Pandemic Pay – lump sum payment to everyone from August 13, 2020 who did not receive a payment. $1,750.00 full-time and $1,250.00 part-time and $750.00 casual.
- Meal allowance $20.00
- Uniform allowance – $200.00 full-time, $160.00 part-time
- Student Supervision/Mentorship/Preceptorship – $2.00 per hour.
- Training Premium – $2.00 per hour when assigned for more than 1 hour. Includes supervision of students.
We are also bargaining several other issues – wage adjustments, scheduling language, remote work language, etc.
